In case you don’t use Facebook and/or aren’t on the Hairy Sloth website all time. We definitely wanted to make sure you’re fully aware that we’ve been back in action again and have had 3 Fabulously Delectable new albums posted to the site this Fall/Winter. They’re all electronic based, but each one is completely unrelated to the other in style, sound, or aesthetic. We take pride in that musical diversity and think you will enjoy the variety of flavors as well. Below are links to each. Feel free to follow them and Download away to your heart’s n ears desire. As usual all of our digital releases here at Tha SLoTH are high quality 320k MP3s and FREE of charge. Of course, you’re more than welcome to donate safely and securely through any of the Paypal buttons you see around the site or to purchase the very few albums that are available in physical formats so far. It all adds up, but more than anything, if you LIKE what you hear, please spread the good w3rd and links along to your music loving friends & associates. No joking, these are two absolutely, spectacular re-imagined burners of a couple of classic tracks. Again compliments of our newest contributing member of the Hairy Sloth family, and easily our most dance floor friendly recording artist. -Mr. Michael Mcnabb. I’d say more about’em, but chu’ll just have to head over and check’em out fur yerself to hear the musical magic.

Lastly, coming in the next week here in the News section of the site are Interviews with atleast 2 of the aforementioned artists above. -Covering everything from their new albums, to their means and methods of w3rking, as well as their plans for their futures as contemporary musicians in an ever changing w3rld.

On Monday, Nov. 30th, 2009 there will be a special performance in Orlando, FL at the Stardust venue:

The prolific and prodigious master of IDM, Post Rock, and everything between n’ since…
R_Garcia is on a SouthEastern US mini tour and is making a stop in his old stomping grounds of Or-Land-Duh, FLowerida. Joining him with their own sets on this very special bill of blue-blooded LIVE Electronic muzaks’ will be his ol’ pals and label mates – alGARhythm and Xenlab aka Dr.XnLb. There will also be an explosive, collaborative jamm session at the conclusion of the evening between these 3 artist, & additionally with some auditory contributions from the proverbial effervescent: A_Scissors.

Now we ask you, how often does a live collaboration of this magnitude go down??

Not only is this show a rarity and a guarantee’d Audio/Video stimulatory treat, but it’s also Free and open to All Ages, so please don’t miss it if you’re able-bodied and willing. Nights like these don’t just fall out of trees on a regular basis.

*This show starts promptly at 9:30 and ends right around midnight, so please don’t be tardy cuz you’ll miss it all. And that would just be a cryin’ shame.

With some equal w3rking attributes of IDM + Drum n’ Bass + Ambiance. -These four tracks compliment each other quite well. “Zenny” aka Keven Rogers is a 20 year old up n’ comer who is looking to climb out his musical shell a bit, and we here at Hairy Sloth are happy that we could help facilitate that some in “Detritus”. -These 4 songs contain a high tempo percussive element transposed against a chillax’d melodic aesthetic and the result is energized yet soothing. Not only is Zenny a part of the next wave electronic audio surfers to wash ashore here at HSR and hop onto the shoulder of our ever-evolving musical totem pole. But he’s also one of the few fellow electronic artists we’ve found who are actually w3rking in the Central FL county which we operate out of, that being – Volusia. “Z” was gracious enough to share some his fresh tunes with us and you free of charge, and we found it quite refreshing to hear what he’s got cooking. Hope you do too. Zenny is also in the process of starting his own net label to release more of his own music, as well as his extended contemporary’s future recordings.
