“The tall, slender, sultry, and supple descriptions of the artist known as A_Scissors. Can just as easily apply to his music, as it applies to his person and persona. This is a modern musician who’s found a way to accurately transpose his own wonderful sense and way of being into his carefully crafted sounds. His music delivers a consistent dichotomy of opposing attributes. On one side, there’s a delicate aura of the precious, the beautiful, the pure.. the graceful. On the other end, there’s some definite angsty superlatives of sound, which one could use to describe the vibe. -Directness, defiance, & subversion all contrast and coexist with many of the kinder, softer modes and means of Mr. Scissors’s musical expressions.

These aesthetic properties have never been more apparent, in my opinion, than on his latest release, “Faster“. Which Hairy Sloth Records is truly honored to have as the first official release.
