Good news.. As of March 24th, 2010, Hairy SLoth Records has now officially moved out of the strictly digital realm with the Compact Disk release of Our 2 most popular albums. Hopefully these sell and we can order more of our other albums in CD format as well. Especially with all the new stuff coming out on HSR this year.
[SLOTH001] – A_Scissors – “Faster” EP
[SLOTH006] – Hairy Sloth Records – “The Central FLaw In Us All Compilation #1″

alGARhythm – "Additional Oranges" ep
$2.50
An EP of 6 vintage alGARhythm songs not released until Sep. of 2008, yet essentially recorded around the same time as his Jan. 2007 Polyvibe Records LP: "Reinventing The Orange". Do not assume by their nature of association however, that this merely a collection of "Reinventing.." outtakes. This EP stands up just fine on it's own accord and artistic merits. One discernible difference that listeners should def notice is that compared to "Reinventing.." these joints are a bit more extended in length, yet stream-lined in aesthetic. Though they are related in many ways, and the A.E. ep does make a nice sister piece to it's predecessor and "older brother". Complimenting each other like all good siblings should.

Benny Loco & Uncle Abuelito – "A Day in the Life of Loco" ep
$2.50
Super solid 7 song EP of melodic IDM music with comparable parts of passionate persuasion and methodical approach. What Benny Loco may lack in years on Earth, he easily makes up for in musical maturity and ideological assurance. If this melody driven montage of thump and bump is any indication of what's to come.. we've got plenty of precise electronic production & quantifiable musical expressions to look forward to for years to come.

R.Garcia – "I Used To Write On Walls..." ep
$3.00
“I Used to Write on Walls & Other New York City Stories” was created on location by Randy Garcia for an off-broadway, Big Apple play of a similar title. It is an exuberant, 10 song meglo EP of Indietronic reverence, beauty, craft, and undeniable melody. One of the more successful sounding blends of indie electronic & post millennial rock released by ANY artist in the past couple of years. Powerful yet delicate. Inventive yet not self indulgent. The music on this EP is filled with contagiously, positive energy and some of the most intoxicating songwriting this side of Appalachia. The blend of guitars, software, live instrumentation, and artistic ingenuity forms a completely cohesive sound that is as pleasing to the heART as it is to the Ear.

Mr. Whitefolk – "Gods and Guns" ep
$2.50
The “Gods and Guns” ep is a subversive electronic slice of American pie. This is a dark, socially infused, sexually conscious, & politically charged IDM record of subtle samples pressed up against potent, driving cadences. Many of the songs on this album seem to take a sort of indirect approach towards dissecting and reassembling certain aspects of pop culture's stereotypes & idiosyncratic taboo’s thru spoken and unspoken auditory formulations.
