History:

Michael Mcnabb lives and w3rks in Central Florida. Originally & still a prolific Vinyl, CD, & digital DJ. Working mostly in the SouthEastern region of the US in association with the Four4ths’ crew/label since the late 1990’s. Over time he’s grown into a fairly serious software programmer and prolific electronic dance music producer from Florida who’s making n’ surfing waves on record labels stateside – all the way across the pond to Europe & back again.. with some of his 2010 – 2011 releases especially. His auditory proficiency and profundity becomes more evident with every passing year, with every immaculate track. Partly evident through a slew of recent releases in the forms of highly original remixes, or more aptly described: “reinterpretations and reinventions” of classic Hip Hop & Hit Dance tracks.

Combine all that with his own straight up fully original Singles, EPs, & LPs coming out on the likes of Bone Idle Records, M-Toxin Records, Dirty French Records, Hairy Sloth Records, to name a few auditory outlets, and with some recent props and distribution via Beatport. It’s no wonder that Mcnabb’s becoming more and more respected n’ sought after for his precision brand of Techy Breaks n’ Glitch’d House with touches of Electro, rumblings of DubStep, the air in Ambianica, and that infamous Dirty South-Booty Bounce low-end flavoring sprinkled on for good measure. It’s like Mcnabb’s tapped into almost all of the best elements of 2 decades worth of varying electronica, with an emphasis on bass, bounce, groove, crunch, and dynamic-ism. He’s formulated an undeniably formidable super strain of sonic contortion-ism. Equal parts everything, just enough of too much, and not missing a beat. As if that wasn’t enough talent for one man with two turn tables, a Mic, a Mac, a Midi Controller, some Synths, and endless Ingenuity.. dude can scratch with the best of’em all while simultaneously matching multiple BPM’s. And he ain’t afraid go experimental now and again either, mix and mashin’ up experiments with everyone from MC’s like Miss K to IDM/Bedroom innovators like alGARhythm and the H-SLoTH crew.
